Have u guys checked out the broadband surfing and gaming at Reliance Web Worlds ???

In each pc in ww you dont even have a start menu, desktop or anything

Well the pcs run on Windows XP though

Too much restriction

You can login with ur private id/pass

here is the screen which comes after you login

this comes instead of desktop

Yeah, but it's running on WinXP platform. I forgot what the interface is called but they've got it custom made for RIL.

May be they hv their own customized Explorer.exe file!

Thats the file that contains & shows Start Menu, Icons etc.

I Hav been a member since 1 year and i have tried to **** the machine in all sorts eveb goin into BIOS doesnt helps yeah i hav tried to get into some files BUT THE FINAL RESULT IS :'(

JUST GETTTA THE **** AWAY

NOBODY CAN ENTER THE MACHINE UNLESS AUTHORISED... There are certain usersnames which are permitted but unknown to all

You want to say that you have full access to some pc, but you never been able to

bypass it's authorization mech :-) ?

well he is right, i saw them accessing with a id of theirs which lets them use the same pc like a normal windows xp user will all startmenu desktop and all

They might be using some sort of utility they developped to limit the usage to certain group of ids ....

Dear ashokjp,

Ok I think they have developed there own customized shell, and they

must be using some rules defined through system/group policy editor,

but even though they have the customized shell the basic platoform is

same with the same set of vulnerabilities and problems, try one to get

into the Adiminstrator account and you will have what you want :-).

I don't encourage illegal hacking against someone else PC, what I am upto

is to break the false sense of security endorsed by some spooky software

BOSS, if i had the adminitrator account i wouldnt need any1s help

But the issue is no one knows the admin login..

Each time they login, they check their mobiles and enter login info..

So maybe the password is also wierd that they cant remember....

Dear Ashokjp,

Ok can you give me the IP block they are using :-), besides that though

nobody knows admin login doesnt means that it's not there, can you have

access to the registry files ( raw ), had I been asked to crack the system,

I would be interested in the sam files and the salt of the users :-).

Information we are discussing here is only due to curiosity, if it's giving

any sense of illegal hacking, then please change your perception. I have

seen so many dumb system administrators/clients, who forgot there

password, after coming from 2/3 weeks holiday and get frustrated after

knowing that they dont even have some password recovery disk if it's

windows XP. Some idiots I know from NIC, always used to copy there

working folder after connecting there hard disk as secondery one to some

other working computer, and then do the fresh install of the XP :-).

But we saved the life of idiots, technocrats, and innocent user by there

permission to pentrate in, and dig the thing for them :-).

and for your info, i have only access to the apps shown in pics

I even tried to access by entering the path directly in IE.. Dat too doesnt work. It says i dont have permission. So find some other way

Hmmmm Ok, you mean you dont have access to anything except the apps

provided by there customized shell. Assuming they do provide some utility

for browsing and mailing, can you do a port scan of the terminal using the

following link and share the information, or you can just fire ur own nessus

against it to find something we are looking for doesnt matter how small it

seems, BTW what ip subnet is being assigned for webworld broadband thingy

from the APNIC is it the same as rconnect?

The link I have posted requires only a web browser to do it's task, and sure

I am that they are using nated interface for there PC's, but even though

portscanner from www.grc.com will rock and give the required information

about the gateway, the PC's are behind.

Anyway I have decided to visit the webworld soon so that I can find the things

myself :-).

Yeah Today also in webworld they were accesing> but I had fnd 1 way to see the bull**** their C:| drive Man u wont believe i had spent hrs and hrs just try 2 break into it but AMBANIS Laways kicked my ***..

Just open ne prog and press ctrl + O

and hey now you can copy ne file IFFFFFFFFF you hav Xs 2 desktop... on some logins there is no restriction on using desktops!

its somewhat like the information kiosks we have in Mumbai... well the customized skin can be changed I presume... hey what if I want to download some utility ? where do i download it to ? well u can run it from whereever right?

Another point to be noted is that in the last 13 years that I have used systems, I have never seen something called a Secure Windows Environment. Coz every edition of windows (I've worked in Windows / Dos all my life ... Linux i have dabbled a bit.. but not much), I have found ways to bypass security...

One more thing... maybe u cud use some crap from firewall.cx or blackcode.com , if nothing else ... I will visit a web world, when I grow sane enough to get out of the computer chair... he he
