But they have enough liberalized contiguous 1800MHz band 3 spectrum to launch in MP+CG, Mah, Kerala, TN, AP, Karnataka, Haryana, Punjab, North-East.. They recently agreed to buy Videocon's spectrum and then they can launch in Gujarat and UP-West.. Even I have seen Idea's 4G signals in my town Sivakasi, in TN circle, where even Airtel has NOT started 4G... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Idea has liberated 4G spectrum on band 3 (1800MHz) in AP circle.. Only Aircel and RJio has Band 40 (2300MHz) spectrum in AP.. They have tied up with Vodafone for 2g and 3g icra. inception 75 Report post Posted January 15, 2016 Idea's 4G seems not be quite good in terms of speed. Even Idea 3G offers similar speeds. Idea has 10 circles where it has atleast 5MHz neutral spectrum. It's obvious that if Idea launches 4G as Narrow Band FDD, it will not be a proper business case.
