ashishu_kumaru 2 Report post Posted February 9, 2016 Hi, I was wondering if we have any Delhi based group members who use EvDo data on Reliance CDMA network? Every time I raise a service request with Reliance about HSD network they say that I'm the first to complaint about that and they are unaware of any network issues. I guess I'm not the only one though. Who all do we have on board and what handset do you use? I'm Delhi based EvDo user and use Samsung Ace 2 duos (SCH-I589). joshm 818 Report post Posted February 9, 2016 (edited) I am in Delhi, and the Evdo has been by and large good, occasionally I notice 1x when I am moving in a car or in metro that too for a small period of time. You may have to call the appellate authority and raise this issue if you are facing bad data at certain location. If it's a generalised issue all over wherever you go then I guess something may be wrong with your phone or connection. ashishu_kumaru 2 Report post Posted February 10, 2016 I'm looking for a new CDMA phone, unfortunately there aren't much available in the market but I noticed there are many people selling imported handsets on OLX and eBay.in. Usually the imported handsets don't support / display Indian local languages, e.g. Hindi / Gurmukhi. Any suggestions / ideas on this? I'm not interested only in LG / Motorola / Samsung with good configuration and less than 5 inch screen - any suggestions / ideas? Thanks in advance. P.S. Thanks for your suggestion, I had a bad experience with Appellate authority in the past but I will try again once my new handset requirement is fulfilled. As soon I am in NOIDA/GGN, download speeds improve. I have never raised issue about this problem as I know they are doing it willfuly. I have instead shifted to MTS EVDO but for past one month MTS EVDO have also started behaving. I will finaly try TI and then I might migrate to some GSM operator. Even in Gurgaon and noida (major places) Speed never exceed 1.25mbps(max) however it fluctuate like hell during peak hours. do not ever think of MTS in Delhi NCR(Most of the places) it s**ks. RCDMA is far better than MTS in Delhi and NCR... Tata is best and consistent(Both for Calls and Data) Even i am thinking to migrate to tata. Checked speed lately . Evdo speed is too good. About the Evdo speed in Delhi, yes I agree it has been 1mbps or below in most of the locations, it was just 3 years back that I used to get around 2 mbps in South extention.
