My story is painful.

Bought note 3 from mi.com on 27 April , but was not shipped till the next sale on 4 may.

I plan to buy from Amazon.in with 1 day delivery, and thought that if order is successfully placed on Amazon , I will cancel the mi.com order.

So on 4 may 2pm, while status on mi.com was showing that phone is still not shipped, order was placed on Amazon with next day delivery. I immediately rush to mi.com to cancel the order. But got a msg:

"Dear customer, your cancellation request didn't go through as the product has been shipped".

What a painful situation! I was then forced to cancel the Amazon order which could have been delivered to me yesterday.

I am still waiting for bluedart to deliver the phone as it is in Delhi rightnow.

I know but it took lot of hassle. And I m not a regular seller.

In case Amazon also had refused to cancel the order , selling here was the last option.

In this reference , Amazon has set quite high standard, they humbly accept to cancel an order which was midway.

Amazon keeps a record of all the cancellations made from an account. Too many cancellations result in blocking of account.

I got my phone yesterday. I would say its a decent phone. My phone is shipped with MIUI 7.2.3.0 ans says no update available. However when I go to download update, it is downloading something and also installating but version remains the same.

Other problem is that contact photo is not displayed while making/receiving a call.

This is some game from mi.com

As mentioned in above post, first i setup the phone without sim and update it to 7.2.3

Then i insert rcdma sim. It took a while to get signal.

I feel that 3G signals and speed is not upto the mark if I compared with previously used droid Maxx/ htc m8.

Now I am thinking to leave rcdma, as data not working and CDMA is also shutting down.

One more interesting thing.

Idea 4g Sim in slot 2.

Idea 2g pack Recharge and network is connected to lte.

Speed on 4g network with 2g data pack is around 30-40KB/s.

Best thing will be use idea 2g pack in all small town where idea launch 4g lte network. And this will increase idea subscribers base in rural who still hang on 2g network.

They will get better speed at same cost as 2g gprs pack.

This method works for me.

Another method->

Enable data->Remove sim tray->switch off device->hold for some time->power it on without sim tray->let it boot->when at lock screen insert sim tray with RCDMA sim.

Data should work.

Method 2 nit working.

Tried multiple times.

Only once it got connected.

Just fed up of rcdma Sim. Now using only single 3G Sim.

Just do a factory reset n put only rcdma in sim 2, don't put any sim in slot 1 after that make your data and calling to sim 2 and than wait for few second once the phone setup Complete you will be able to use reliance Sim with data and after that put your gsm sim in sim slot 1

Note : 1) Don't add any new apn in reliance Sim

2) Choose preferred network as cdma 3g

This is what I have done and able to use reliance Sim with data
