Shroud of secrecy on the whole of RCom 4G upgradation process. Nothing specific from companies side. Just register for 4G upgradation and lose porting option from that day till 90 days from 4G commencement. R Com 4G will not commence before JIO roll out.

Reliance is in a financial mess. I won't be surprised if RCOM sells all it's assets and closes down completely.

Hello Everyone,

I am a CDMA postpaid User of Gujarat. Now the situation is i am currently living in chennai as i have my job over here but my Number is of Gujarat Circle.

after listening to upgrade to 4G, I am not able to activate my card . I tried both ways sending an SMS to 1299 and calling to 1299.....

Please is there anyone who can help me know what should be done.

Bhai RCOM 1st Downfall Blow was going for GSM

2nd Blow is 4G 

I think people who are not Stucked in 2yrs plan Shoud actually Move out from RCOM (Anil) & wait for Jio (Mukesh)

After INP from from CDMA to RGSM I opted for 3G pack, but outside cities even 2G doesn't work. So finally have to purchase Idea Mifi whose 4G coverage is much better than RCOM 2G.

RGSM not even worth 2G.

I have netconnect+ postpaid. I have done the upgrade to 4G process and placed order of Wipod at 899

But i still not received the Wipod 4G device. Customer care is not helping.

Any one face similar problem?

I am from Gujarat and here they have Stopped EVDO. Netconnect+ device is useless now.

rcom not generating UPC code for my 5 postpaid cdma numbers. web world is helpless. complained to pgportal made, still no reply from reliance since last 6 days. any idea/ help how to avoid joining upcoming pathetic gsm crowd.

Rcom CDMA is now in complete mess. Im from TN. No info of migrating to 4g here.

Plan to port out to the sweet AirHell in coming month.

Just talked to CC on 198. regarding EVDO shut down, They confirmed and told me that CDMA will be closed and 4G is going to launch on 26th May, Is it true?

I ma also from Shalimar Bagh Delhi,

the signal very very pathetic .

the call doesn't gets connected & fortunately if gets connected then automatically disconnects with in seconds

i have already registered for 4G by SMS process.

all these handsets will become paper weight.

 

i also have a Airtel connection . I searched for network service providers ; the screenshot of the have been been attached herewith. The list shows "IND-JIO" 

 

SO guys please tell me that are we the customers who are told to be upgraded to 4G are been migrated to this very network or the another one shown as "Reliance"

 

Besides one thing is not very clear in the minds that whether these CDMA handsets will work or not. cc persons tell me that it your present cdma handset is 4G comatible then no need to buy another handset. In other words any 4G handset would work on reliance 4G irrespective of the fact that whether it is CDMa or GSM.
