I am planning to purchase Motorola DROID Turbo 1.

Impressed with the specs and battery rating .

But the phone being almost 1.5 yrs old from the date of release now.

Is it still a good phone to buy ? .. does cdma and gsm work well in india on this phone ?

Is there any cheap alternative other than the 25$ trick discussed on the xda . ?

How is the battery performance ? , i read in the forums that i can reduce the resolution of this device to 1080p from the current 2k ..

Did anyone ever tried this ? ..

What are other best MOD's or needed customizations available for this phone ? .. Please enlighten.

Dont think i have tried this. Battery is good. I got mine replaced a month back
