Dear spdf,

Yep you can use the same cable connection to watch TV as well as

use your internet connection.

Really? I thought they used different cables... CAT 5/6 for internet and regular co-axial for cable TV!

Dear anujit,

Ok my answer was based on the assumption that @ least one having

cable internet know that they connect there pc to the cable modem

using CAT 5/6 cable on the ethernet transport, and co-axial endpoint to

the TV, besides TV tuner card dont have room for CAT 5/6 cable.

Tell the cable waala and he will put a seperate connection for the TV Tuner...

Make sure that the signal is pretty good otherwise the experience with TV tuner is gonna be really bad!!!

is it internal tuner or an external one??

The advantage of internal is that you can record programs into HDD when you want... the disadvantage is well.... you will have to turn on the PC everytime for watching TV!!

Yes you definitely can, most of the cable internet provider serve

both contents { Internet, A/V }, and they do provide two outputs

@ there splitter end.
