Mr_x 7 Report post Posted May 24, 2016 (edited) Got both sim activated One is working fine other only outgoing is working 3g mode only cannot check data balance, the one which is working shows my main and promo balance Had to switch devices wasn't getting activated Try removing the battery should do the trick. If RCDMA has done this, then it would be a worst joke.. seeding a scare of network closing down just to get the people on RGSM and test out 4G and in the end keep the CDMA network working.. Everyone is confused.. Let's see how it plays out.. I think it might be that they ask users to port out to MTS.. or you think it would be a seemless.. and RCDMA would continue.. all this ho halla was worthless.. Mr_x 7 Report post Posted May 24, 2016 CDMA balance was carried forward only on the number that I recharged yesterday the other number didn't get my balance carried forward it seems only the balance wich I put after the LTE recharge was carried forward still no data balance on either of the phones though network seems to be the same vanilla Reliance 3g only in this the name shows as Reliance 4g network connected to HSPA(3g) searched on a Note 4 and a Redmi 2 prime no Reliance 4g visible, old CDMA phones not working, maybe they will transfer all the customers and then activate 4g. It just says that now you need to shift to a GSM handset to keep getting network as CDMA will not work for your number anymore. 4G activation may happen in due course. Network signal info widget on my phone shows that it is connected to the same tower as my RGSM, plus I have a tower near both my office and home so on RGSM I get quite decent speed above 2mbps always but inconsistent. zanaka 13 Report post Posted May 24, 2016 Btw, will Reliance GSM 4G/LTE network be considered the same as Jio, since Jio would be piggybacking on the same liberalised spectrum that Rcom just allowed them to have in the deal ? Because if they will stay separate businesses, then can RGSM people from Rcom port out to R JIO ? Or since the network will be considered the same it won't make any difference ?
