Update  from Kerala Circle: 

CDMA SIM deactivated yesterday evening and 4G SIM activated instantly.

All Incoming and Outgoing calls and SMS is working.

Balance carried forward. Top up recharges through Freecharge works on selecting Reliance CDMA.

Got promo 150 Min valid for one month. Balance getting deducted at 1p/1s from promo bal. Not sure if base tariff which was 50p/min has got changed.

At present only 2G data available. Promo Data of 1GB on 2G with validity of one month is credited.

My father's connection in Kochi, Kerala is not working. CDMA is dead but GSM/4G sim isn't active either. Postpaid connection.

Hope you activated by

SMS 4G < space >19 digit SIM number of the new 4G SIM to 1299.

Alternatively, you can also call on 1299 from your CDMA mobile and enter your new 19-digit 4G SIM number. You will get a confirmation SMS about your 4G SIM upgrade.

As of yet CDMA still up in Chennai with 1x . No EVDO since Monday.

Yep, had done done few weeks ago. 

Anyway I did send an email to Nodal/Appellate authority and also my father sent someone to the Reliance Store, not sure what fixed it, now both incoming and outgoing is working fine. He doesn't need data, just voice/sms, so not sure about the data.

It seems to be on same frequency band as Jio.

Today morning from 6:00 AM I was not able to make or get any calls. CDMA signal was showing available. I had set Call forwarding in case number not reachable, but forwarding was not taking place.  I tried the new 4G SIM but it showed network not found.

About 1:00 PM, I tried the new SIM and lo, it was working. After a few minutes, the call alert SMSs all came together, about 25 of them! My phone is not 4G, hence I don't know if 4G is working. Since it is postpaid, I don't know about balance carry forward.

4g network is not at all stable. Many times signals are not there. I got s7 edge rjio offer so gonna try that out also. So far I have 3 operators Rcom Vodafone n Airtel out of which Airtel has best speed n Rcom has ****tiest. My Vodafone is okay. I'm from Mumbai. Y'day I ran speed test on all 3 in my office area. Airtel crossed 2 digit appx 11 voda was close to 8 n reliance 4.5..

I'm guessing Reliance 4G will show up soon (like in the next few days) in Kerala as Jio is connecting to 850 Mhz/band 5 (spectrum owned by RCOM) in Trivandrum

Interesting.  Why they are offering 10GB for 97 only in Mumbai circle and nothing of that sorts in another circles.

Or is it that 4G is officially up only in Mumbai. In Delhi/NCR it appears for brief and then doesn't latch. Should we expect such plan elsewhere in other circles?

BTW there is another interesting observation, a SIM latch to 4G only if you have 4G data balance. Is it? The dongle SIM in Delhi/NCR is continuously latched to 4G even if no 4G balance, but it is suppose to be 'data only'. For normal SIMS, latching to 4G is allowed only when your account has 4G data balance.

Really amused at seeing how low this ADA company stoop to. First they gave SIMS at 93-97 + 25 (and whatever premium shopkeeper charged), then they made it Re 1 and then it was free.. all at promise of call charges being carried forward. In the end all call plans reset to 2p/sec.

4G in pune is working for post-paid customers. Is this working for prepaid customers? Even prepaid mobiles are now showing 4G signals but no connectivity to any site.

Can anyone let me know if Rcom 4G will run on Sprint HTC626s. It supports 850 MHz Band5. However I am unable to latch onto 4G. Tried many different settings. I'm from Surat, Gujarat Circle where 4G has started. Sim doesn't need patching as webworld guy told me 2G is working on it. If it does support pls could anyone let me know the exact settings. Have sent the screenshot of the network type options for reference. It doesnt show LTE/ WCDMA as an option. When I select LTE/CDMA it the network disappears.

In Bangalore after 4G SIM activation I'm getting very low speed, between 5 and 15 KBPS.

CC guy says SIM needs to be patched (software upgrade in CC's words) whereas Web world guy says 4G migration not completed;.4G data speed will be available after 25 July. Can anyone shed some light? Which is correct?
