Is data working if you put this SIM in another handset? If not, get the SIM 'patched' at the store.

Phone hardware is developed according to needs. Can you imagine a scenario where you would be using 2 LTE data connections simultaneously or 2 volte calls concurrently? It is incorrect to simply say that phones would need 8000 mah/ heat sink to support this.
ashishu_kumaru 2 Report post Posted June 20, 2016 If we look at the connectivity specification of Lyf smartphones - all of them support LTE-FDD Band 3(1800) and LTE-TDD Band 40(2300). Majority of them, but not all, support Band 5(850) too. Apparently, any phone that supports all three frequencies should work on Reliance 4G / Jio. Happy to be corrected if I missed anything though. I guess I will settle with 5 inched Oppo F1 because it supports all three bands, has good technical specifications with seemingly good camera power. Here are a couple of links that could help you understand and explore the technical capabilities of LTE bands: https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-difference-between-TD-LTE-and-FDD-LTE http://electronicdesign.com/communications/what-s-difference-between-fdd-and-tdd
