ACS 130 Report post Posted May 24, 2016 End of the day, even if this is JIO ready, you need the JIO join app for voice to work, from what I've last heard. Will that allow calls to non Jio-join app contacts??? Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk

kshah 452 Report post Posted May 24, 2016 Jio join is more of a dialer like application which routs voice on data. So if one doesn't have VoLTE handset, jio join will allow voice services on LTE connection Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
ACS 130 Report post Posted May 25, 2016 ^^^ But can you then call anyone? Or only 'Jio Join' app users, on the lines of Viber & WhatsApp? Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk
KanagaDeepan 1,084 Report post Posted May 25, 2016 Yes, I have similar doubts.. Whether call wait, call forward works on Jio Join or not? Whether the "Jio Join" call disconnects when another call comes via 2G on another SIM?? But it can make offnet calls, but NOT so sure...

dev_4_all 11 Report post Posted May 26, 2016 In order to use the reliance 4g on my sprint note 4 I am trying to use my airtel 4g the phone goes in international mode and no data Is there any way we can have lte only setting so that i can use sprint phone for reliance 4g
sunilromy 62 Report post Posted May 26, 2016 you can enable required bands via dfs/qxdm but on sprint phone it won't work, by default sprint doesnt have network parameters for band 40 and band 3.. instead it have parameters for 26 and 41..nvitem for band 3, 40 arent active. you can get those parameters from same variant which have band 40 and band 3. again, sprint have network roaming policies which doesnt allow us to connect to 4g. so there is something call as policyman in every sprint phone, that too needed to be patched. Nothing is impossible. Just highly unlikely..

bigbyte 24 Report post Posted July 19, 2016 Most if not all sprint phone support band 26 and hence band 5 as well. The best 4g signal for jio and only 4g signal for reliance 4g is on band 5. I am using Rcom 4g on sprint note 5 without any issues. Sent from my SM-N9208ZDV using Tapatalk
