What would be important is whether data would be separately charged for video access or not. 3.25GB for 275 is not that bad otherwise.

Yes you can use the data for anything - I mean you can also use it for video if you want - but it is not necessary. They are providing video access FREE so that you will use their DATA services for watching video but it is not compulsory to watch video - you can use data for anything as TRAI has ordered that data services cannot be provided with selective services/partnership. Marketing Trick. I believe that Rcom can only slash prices once the services are commercially launched from both ends i.e. Rcom as well as Jio. Till then they need such tricks to somehow hold their customers.

Sent from my XT1060 using Tapatalk Did you try using 4G data or make call and see whether it is being deducted from promo or core balance? Do you have Instacare App installed - is the balance showing there? or Did you check *111*1*3# or MBAL to 55333 Is the promo balance showing while dialing *367# or *367*1# Update: I also recharged and got a receipt but the status in the transaction History shows FAILED & the explanation for 'FAILED' is given below as : FAILED - Selected price-point is unavailable for recharge. Amount deducted will be credited to your account within 7 working days. We regret the inconvenience caused. Seems it is valid for ONLY those who upgraded but did not recharge anything. commonman 228 Report post Posted August 15, 2016 299 all india minutes + 1 GB for Rs.299 is not such a bad offer. But they messed up in the next one. Should have been 499 minutes + 2 GB for Rs.499. Most normal customers would have opted for that.
