Avoid gas and hamster power sources. 2. You will now see a screen that says "Virgin Mobile" and some other stuff. Using the keypad, enter six "1's." Your screen should show "11-1111." Press the down arrow on the navigational key once to highlight the "Phone Number" option. Press the "OK" key. 6. You are now on the "NAM1 Phone Number" screen. HERE IS HOW YOU REMOVE THAT (T-Mobile) ABOVE YOUR TIME! First set your S105 graphic logo to "On": (thx Dexter) Click on "Menu" on your S105 Select "Phone Settings" Select "Display Settings" Select "Graphic Logo" Choose "On" Then send yourself an operator logo: Go to http://www.nextones.com Click on the "Register" Tab Pick your Country (USA) Choose your phone model (S105) Enter your personal information Check your email for login information Log into nextones.com Click the "Freebees" icon Click on the "Free Icons" link Choose any icon, then click on the "Send" image Under "Logo - Choose Wireless Carrier" click on the radio button labeled "Logo - T-Mobile USA" Choose your state in the drop down. Click the "SEND TO PHONE" button You should receive a message on your phone - "New Message operator logo Nextones" Click "View" to go to your Inbox Click "View" to read the message Click "Options" Choose "Save" When you get back to your main screen you should see that operator logo above your date and time. If you want it to be blank, purchase some credits from Nextones (or play games to get free credits) and create a blank logo, then repeat the process. Make sure you try a free logo first to make sure it works. If you do not receive a message on your phone, you might want to try using another location (Step 12). For example, California has 2 options under the State dropdown: "California Default" and "California Backup". If "Default" doesn't work, try "Backup". If you have tried different locations and still don't receive a message, you might want to try selecting a different Carrier (Step 11). Some T-Mobile customers actually use Cingular networks. anujit 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2005 Most of they codes are "customised" for individual handsets/service providers by the phone manufacturer. For instance for I am yet to find some good codes (besides AKEY and a few more) for the Samsung SCH A563. None of the codes for the 565 (Spanish/Brazilian edition) or the 500 (US Edition) seem to work!

Using the keypad enter the 10 digit MIN What is a 10-digit MIN? -PK
Vishal Gupta 4 Report post Posted July 4, 2005 MIN: Mobile Identification Number. A number assigned by the wireless carrier to a customer's phone. The MIN is meant to be changeable, since the phone could change hands or a customer could move to another city. SID:The SID (System Identification Number) is a number (0-32,767) transmitted by base stations that identifies a wireless system that conforms to a TIA cellular or PCS standard. The SID is used by mobiles to recognize when they are in their home system (e.g. it controls the "roam" light). Some newer phones may maintain a list of "preferred" systems identified by their SID code. The SID may also modify some signaling messages that are transmitted by mobiles. In the wireless network, the SID is used for billing purposes, as a unique identification of the system that is serving a mobile (and that thus must be compensated for services provided to roamers). papikondalu 1 Report post Posted July 5, 2005 Hi Vishal, Thank you very much for a quick reply. In one of my web searches I came across the following information about SID on http://www.ifast.org/NationalSID.htm 14655-14674 India—Reliance So, this is what I understand from the information you gave me. Reliance will assign one or more of these SIDs to mobile phones to track the home/roaming areas for each mobile phone. Thus, when I take a connection from Reliance by buying a Reliance phone (with an unassigned number), Reliance will program the phone with SID, etc. Thanks once again. -PK

anujit 0 Report post Posted July 25, 2005 Good searching man. Trouble is that these codes are usually changed (especially the programming codes) for every region. So none of them work with Indian/RIM handsets. Thus rendering all your efforts useless.

ashoksoft 83 Report post Posted October 18, 2006 naa ... change the emergency numbers to any number u choose, but the billing happens from the MSP's backend .. (frm reliance in this case) so it will not be a free call ... (else do u think anyone would have gone for the free rim2rim schemes ??? for all i know, u would just hardcode the number of ya gal onto the hs ) well .. so that blanks out that question
