StaticElectricity 8 Report post Posted April 2, 2004 Actually Dudes, When We Use The Internet On A Normal Windows PC, We Use A Protocol Called PPP (Point To Point Protocol). And If You Notice #777=PPP Such Kinds Of Calls Are Actually What They Call OverTheAir Calls.. ie. There Is A Low Priority Data Exchange With The Server As Well As The Phone Without Making Calls. Only When Actual Voluminous Data Exchange Is Required, The Server Or The Client Initiates A Call. And The Number Such As #777 Is Just An Over The Air Number... Not A Server Number In Itself. Like For Bsnl 172226 it's not like that. For Example If You Pass ATDT #777 You *WILL* Get A Response *Connected* But There Will Be No Call As Such. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
