Sbi For Rim Bill Payment

Recommended Posts

Reliance Infocomm has tied-up with State Bank on India (SBI) for online RIM bill payment through R World, the data application suite of Reliance IndiaMobile (RIM). As per the arrangement, a RIM user with an SBI account will be able to pay the bill amount directly from his account. While this encrypted service is highly secure and easy to use, it'll be free of charge.

Reliance Infocomm has similar tie ups for direct debit with ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank. For credit card payments, it has arrangements with MasterCard, Visa, and Diners card.

"Given the paucity of time, especially in bigger towns, and the hassle of conventional bill payment, online bill payment is the way forward. Our company is committed to making the lives of its customers easier. This tie-up with India's largest bank is a step in that direction," said Mahesh Prasad, President, Applications Solutions Group, Reliance Infocomm.

How to do it:

One will require a unique personal identification number (PIN) to be able to access

RIM Bill Payment facility on R World. For this one will need to register on www.onlineSBI.com. Within 48 hours of doing so, one will receive the four-digit PIN via SMS.

A customer can also check details of his previous transaction and current usage charges including the unbilled amount at the RIM Bill Payment application.

R World is India's only truly interactive mobile data application suite. Available to a majority of over 10 million RIM subscribers, the Java and BREW-based suite offers over 150 every-day-use applications such as railway ticketing, m-transactions, exam results and commodity prices.
