Mobile Service In Delhi

Friends i have to move delhi and i have to buy new connection. I can buy RIM as well as any GSM connection in preapid. since i have to recieve a lots of calls. please help me weather i sud buy a GSK of RIM or i should go for GSM. my major requirement is that io have to recive international SMS mostly from AT&T FIDO and TELUS. I have to recive ISD call from AT&T FIDO and TELUS. I have to use GPRS Service and MMS Service. I don't want to make too many calls so please suggest me that if i will buy GSM connection then which connection IDEA/HUTCH/AIRTEL or some other. and one most important thing that i am going to stay near Nehru Place and i have heard that there is some network problem with RIM so please give me some suggestion

I dont know about Delhi in particular ...but if SMSing is important, you are almost definitely going to regret getting RIM. First, you will have to deal with the 140/160 character limit. Second, no MMS from non RIM phones. Third, no concatenated SMSes. Forth, 'pictures', etc will look garbled... etc, etc, etc.

If u wish to send outgoing MMS go in for HUTCH in delhi. MMS on prepaid dunno but on postpaid u need to subscribe for Rs 99 monthly and send unlimited MMS free.

Airtel charges Rs 5 per outgoing MMS but no subscription fee. choice is urs.

yaar i need a preapdi connection as i have to stay there for almost 1 month. I have heard that HUTCH is providing cellphone connection on rent.

Yes, Hutch does provide on rent coz i saw that o their website.

dont know much details.
