kshah 452 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Apart from S/W version, there is problem is USB cable too. Please check with LG people and get cable replaced. I had to replace cable as sync softs did not worked. So I took cable to LG S/S and they gave me new. It took 8 days to replace. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

GO to Syncronization >>> Configure Synchronization c) Go to communication settings tab here and select the relevant port COM1 for Serial and COM3 for USB data cable Important: if it is a USB data cable do the above exercise after connecting the phone and cable to the PC Good Luck Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

tanveer 59 Report post Posted December 23, 2004 i just bought the 7230. its wonderful. i am having problem with pc sync. it does not connect. it gets stuck when i do the "read the phone" thing. I have the latest version (1.1) of the software and alsochanged the driver version to 2.25. can u help me and tell what else i can do? also any USB port would do or any specific port is to be used? In my case it reads, "Exchanging data, reset after job". After the process is over, the phone switches off and then onn. Is it so with all the people or is there some seting that can be modified and changed? Please help as it is very irritating, the phone switching off and then onn again and again!
