Yes you can activate your phone on line 2 using GSK, but there are two conditions for that

1) Your phone should be prepaid

2) Your mobile will work on line 2 only with new number, and your old no will be lost.

That means there is no advantage of using line 1 or line 2.

Well sanay

u can shift ur connection from line 1 to line 2 by exchanging min

but still i dont think u will be able to use line 1 and line 2 with seprate no in each of them.

Regarding transfer of no from line 1 to line 2.. u wont need a HCC.

Jus exchange the min's, if u know how to.. Cant say further :P

Well I am not talking of unofficially changing MIN for line1 to line2.

But without tampering with the handset, you can install new no. in line2 but that replaces your old no. of line1 officially.

Line1 responds same as what line2 normally responds.

Well guys..

I searched for the topic in nokia site and got the following info.

I hope this will help you understand Line 1 line 2..

:

:

Line in use (network service) — this setting is shown only if the SIM card supports two subscriber numbers, that is, two phone lines. Select which phone line (Line 1 or Line 2) you want to use for making calls and sending short messages.

Calls on both lines can be answered irrespective of the selected line. You cannot make calls if you select Line 2 and have not subscribed to this network service. To prevent line selection, select Line change > Disable if supported by your SIM card. To change this setting, you need the PIN2 code
