ankurktr 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2005 I am using LG LSP340e for accessing internet through my laptop. I am using a USB to serial port converter cable. All the setup of modem and cable driver is setup perfectly without any errors.I am using win XP professional with SP1a. When i connect to internet, it does get connected and some data transfer take place for initial 1 min.In that one min I am able to connect yahoo messenger and probabaly open google. But after about 1 min, the data transfer rate is 0.0bytes/sec. !!!! When the internet is connected, Iable able to do "ipconfig" and see that the ip is being allocated to my machine from the reliance server. I am not able to figure out whats wrong....even "query modem" from devie manager modem properties is working fine.There seems to be no prob in installation of drivers /data cable !! It should solve ur problem. 35559[/snapback] well in the mean time I posted this, I had updated my laptop with SP 2 as well. problem persits!! I don't know whats wrong..It gets connected successfully still speed is zero after 1 min.!!!! The signal in teh phone is strong too(4 bars) !!! What to do. alam 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2005 Well Ankur, USB cables with the LSP-340E have always been a problem. One of my friends is facing a problem wherein the phone keeps disconnecting for now reason whatsoever, and very often the connection just dies out (as in your case). Tarak 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2005 I am facing similar problem on LG 5120 it works fine for 2-5mins and then goes into Dormancy mode. I have to disocnnect and connect. Sometimes it works fine for an hour but most of the times it goes into dormancy and never works within 2-5mins. jigoo_here 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2005 Ankur ! We r in the same boat. I have preciesly same enviornment as u have, LG-LSP-340E, WinXP and same problem of dormancy. In my case, sometimes it happens very often at every 10/15 min and sometimes it stays connected for hours. I really don't understand what's causing it. nitinmukesh123 11 Report post Posted April 29, 2006 I too face the same problem for this i open google in Opera and set to automatically loading 10 secs right click > Reload every > Enable and set the secs. Only that way it work else 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0. try it out guys its same as pinging but pinging may ban you on that site as the request is every sec... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

For me I am facing problem for last 6 months. They are not sincere to solve this. Idiot Reliance peoples. Guys,Have any of you guys been able to resolve this issue?
