xshay421 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2005 heyy ppl, as every one knows the battery life in samsung sch 191 is terrible,i dnt wana chnage my set now..but the bat life is nuthn more thn an hour of talk time or even less so want to buy a new batteryy please advise as to where to get the battery form...web world ,or fmr the grey market whr its cheaper ..... willl a cheaper battery be a bad option....the gy told me dat the not original one is for 350 and the original one at web worlds is for like 6 50 or somthn....what should i do..plzzzzzzz help thnx a ton Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

anujit 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2005 Wouldnt advise 2nd hand batteries ever. RWorlds are now stocking non Samsung/LG stuff. Probably batteries too that are generally cheaper than orginals. If they have batteries there that would be the safest bet. Usually in countries like USA you could go for non-branded batteries because they would be quality stuff. Sadikk 301 Report post Posted July 18, 2005 The battery i saw they (WW) providing is same i get it in 100 bucks in manish market in mumbai, Well what i meant second hand battery is which lying with people as thier service to the phones is deactivated for non payment of bills. even i have more then 20 batteries with me of diff handsets. and i keep buying these kinda batteries or handsets from people willing to give it in very cheap rates, i have even purchased few service de-activated handsets in just 200 bucks. it will be a best bargain xshay go for it. The information I have got there is a- that batteries are available from 180 -300. b- two brands seem to be alright one is called gsm and another one is called 'cs' or some thing like that "cino indian" looks to be alright c they give 7days - 15/20 days gurantee d they said do not charge it for more than 1 hour e i am happy with the performance . it is lasting for 1 day (read below) ok what happened with my set about one year back i dropped accidentally my n191 set into a bucket of water and picked it up after 2 min. it stopped working . after some drying up it again started working. in addition to this mobile falls from my hands every other day. then it started (battery) only for 4-5 hrs max. then i purchased a original samsung charger for 150/- and now i replaced the battery with chinese one. the one i had purchased is called as "gsm" it has following marks on it: environmental friendly batttery for sam n191/n195 3.7v 800mAh Li-ion some instructions Cellular TOP (made in chine) a hologram "CHAO LI TONG/ CLT/Cellular TOp" btw this is a iso 9001: 2001 company hope this is helpful to you regards prasad- indore Edited August 2, 2005 by saisubha Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
