xshay421 0 Report post Posted July 25, 2005 hey guys wassupp, this forum has done a good job for most people.I currently have a samsung sch-191, want to chnage my phone.Want major major advise and help from you people.have a lot of questions. 1) Having seen nice nokia fones like 6600 n so on with so many tit bit fun functions and awsome user friendliness, im so tempted to give up mr dhiru bhaiz pineer offfer, the only good thing here is the free sms.REALLY WONDERING GUYSS.....coz if i am buying a new handset , u guys think i might as well buya good nokia set for like 12000 or 10000 rupess????? 2) Another big quiestion in my mind is if i do stick on with reliance then what is the ebst phone available as on date???whats up with this nokia 6255??isnt there any sexyyy nokia fone that relaince have tied up with?i really thought that lg 6130 was the best bet that relaince has on offer currently....but lg is lg n a god nokia phone is so refreshing........plz teme which is the best fone to go in for dont quite mind the budget...want a good loaded fone like 6600 and its price n features 3) If i do buy a lg 6130 thn wats the best price n the lower n upper price range that i ash n could pay for it.....coz one dealer told me he wd give it for rs 5800 n i could retain my old number. 4) IS it worth waiting for some good fones that are surely gonaa be launched soon(no hear says n gossips plzz)if thr is somthn dats gona be int he stores with relainc in a mth or so thn its worth waitin...... plzzzzz advise i need to get goin n pikina fone coz this damn sch 191 lasts for jus 30 minz of talk time........duno really thnkin of shftin to airtel or somthn good n have a nice fone......but my damn sms usage is 1500 sms evvy mth....teme what to do n gimi some good solid gyan so dat i can decide..... thnxxxx love u all akshay Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

SexyGurl 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2005 I have also seen lot of nokia phones .... and from the looks they are attractive (.... and bloody expensive too ). If you are ok, with 10,000 - 12,000 type phones you should surely look at nokias. But then it's the phone you are buying... in my opinion GSM networks in India s*ck, as far as data services are concerned. GPRS is low in terms of data transfer speeds, as compared to CDMA (GPRS cannot support video streaming). In addition, the text (or wallpaper type stuff), in GPRS in inferior to what's available on reliance. But at your price range, you are probably looking at EDGE ... even there the gsm providers have far fewer content than reliance (and inspite of that much costly) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

There is not point saying: "Hello, if I were you, I'd buy a 2000 rupee B&W handset, because I am a miser and like to save money for my future generations." All I said was, if you value the utility of data services (served off the network), reliance offers the best. Functionality (or design) offered by the Nokia set itself, may be better in some GSM sets (eg. sleek design, colors, fonts etc.). Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
