Rconnect Disconnects After 1 Min On Win Xp

about this problem (r-connect works for first 1 or 2 minutes and then goes to a state of dormancy. no data flow after 1 or 2 minutes).

it is a network problem of reliance. You are not the only one facing this problem. infact, most of the users of Reliance Phone are victims of this problem. I am myself facing this problem since last 20 days.

Reliance Customer Care earlier told that this technical problem is being worked on and would be resolved by 5th September. Now, it says that it would be resolved by 17th September.

so, kindly stop blaming your Phone / Data Cable / Windows XP settings. If at all, anything is to be blamed, it is Reliance itself.

IMP. ADVICE : Anyone under the Freedom Data Plan, kindly call up customer care and immediately change your plan for the time-being. Because, as such you won't be able to surf internet till this problem is resolved. So, no point paying the fixed rental for internet usage.

I dont think it is a proble m with network as the RConenct servies works fine on my Desktop and my freind's laptop runingWinXp

I am fedup with this issue. Can somebody suggest any alternative soluitions

Are u guys tried out Ping application create by Deepu. Search it in RIMWEB and installed it in your system and Use. I think this may solve some problem.
