Umm when exactly are they launching these? Considering the response the 6255 has got (on RIMWeb at least), they should really hurry up with these!

Any idea where we can view the features?

Well, it seems that the market has become considerably lucrative for launching new CDMA handsets.

Barring a few Nokia models, we dont find any good CDMA handset these days...

US CDMA Subscribers such as Alltel, US Cellular etc might be seeing a Nokia Symbian device sometime in the future. According to MobileTracker, the FCC has approved the Nokia 6638, the first CDMA Series 60.

So are you guys ready for the first CDMA Series 60?

Hi Guys,

I learnt that Nokia is coming up with yet another model 6155 for India, Indonesia, New Zealand and Australia markets. I felt its features are enhanced especially with camera(1MB,8x zoom), polyphonic ringtones(64),video ringtones,pop-port connectivity and Speaker-independent voice recognition(SIVR). It best supports international roaming with RUIM and dual-frequency operation.I hope they've removed bluetooth connectivity to create market for their bluetooth adapter which fits into pop-port.There is no memory expansion slot. Just internal 16MB(this is good enogh if you're not going on big vacation). The depth of colour is amazing although resolution remains same. main display - 262K external display -65 K compared to 6255's main-64K and external-4K. You can get more information in ASIA-PACIFIC nokia website.

No idea. May be Nokia people active in forum could throw some light. It says it supports audio-streaming but no mention about music-player. Is the format used for these 2 apllications are different?

If you forget about listening to stored music then I feel 6155 is more future-rich compared to 6255.

No bluetooth, no mp3 player........blah blah blah blah

6155 only has a better camera

And believe me nokia 1.3 Mp cams are no good either.

I have seen the pics taken by 3230, the colors are horrible

No bluetooth,no mp3 player,no mmc. That's it. There's no more blah blah.

The high features of 6155 are the following.

High colour depth helpful for multimedia

Fantastic camera

improved audio and video streaming

improved voice dialling

RUIM option

64 poly

If you're not fanatic about music then I would bet 6155 is the best.

Anyway forget about both 6155 and 6255 there is 6265 which exactly mixes both the features of 6155 and 6255. Could help both photo and music fanatics.

When will it be lauched ?

Kesav, How can you say 6155 has improved audio and video streaming & voice dialling over 6255? Nowhere in its previews it is written that these features are improved.

The 6155 & the 3155 look like variations of the 6255 with the same basic design! Something similar to what car manufacturers do!!!

The 6155 looks good on features but bad on design (especially colour)!
