I have applied the changes mentioned to my 6130 and it connects at 230 kpbs. So I used to get effective speeds of around 13-15 KB/sec. But all ofa sudden, I am hardly getting 4-5 KB/sec in Delhi. The network strength is full, still this is going on. This means that one thing for which Reliance was known data access speeds, that also it is adamant to lose. On top of it they have withdrawn Unltd On-Net packs, limited data transfer plans to the s***er Rconnect cards. If customers cheat themselves saying that we have to pay premium, this and that etc… not only Ambani even any idiot can cheat Indian consumers. I feel, based on my experience, Reliance Rconnect is a very ordinary service and does not worth Rs 1500 per month (even for unlimited usage). Clever customers are moving to Airtel instead of deceiving themselves by saying no mobility, how great Ambani etc…. You have two choices: one is continue the loser existence by making Ambani Billionaire or behave like a smart customer change your service provider. Vishal Gupta 4 Report post Posted November 17, 2005 Since last 2 days, I'm not getting speed! In day time, can't open ne site, some sites open in 2 or 3 minutes but RIMweb doesn't open! When try to d/l something, speed becomes zero.... after MIDNIGHT I get some speed and can open sites and RIM web too. Is ne1 else facing such problem????? RajanPERT 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2005 Yes you are right! This problem is started from 16th nov 2005 about 1.00 PM. I was online at this time. But R Connect start problem. I faced a rare problem of call failed about 20 times in just 10 min. After that the R Connect speed is going down. I think at this time, the problem is started and not solved till now. Now my problem is get solved somewhat and i am getting a download speed up to 5-6kbps at this time. When i complained regarding this to RCC and nearest webworld. Both said that there is technical problem and some worked are going on at nearest Tower, due to this reason u are facing this problem. May be they are saying right? Thanks and Take Care! jayant 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2005 Solved for me too.....and if this happens next time(in near future).......i will seriously think about going back to other ISP's.....Value for money is something i always look for and if they cant provide good service or atleast better customer care whats the use of staying with them? Am eagerly waiting for Airtel Broadband to be launched here in Punjab. Its cheaper n i hope it has more BW.....and that will be the PayBack time i guess Neways, for now i am able to browse as smoothly as b4(Lemme tell u a part of my conversation with RCC at *333.....I was forced to call them when the problem was persistant for 3 days and they asked me if i installed ne new hardware(according to them in my area they have no upgradation or ne sort of problem regarding DATA going on) and i told them about that i just increased my RAm 2 days ago but that wont effect the data transffer speed......and can u imagine what she said............she said something which made me stop the conversation there and put the phone down with me ROFLMAO .......she said.......PLEASE REINSTALL THE DRIVERS........can u imagine what kind of idiots are empled with reliance?)
