Direct link offers bigger download! 39842[/snapback] I don't know whether it's just me or not, but whenever I installed this update (or even it's previous number) usually my pc got screwed in 1-2 weeks. I don't know whether it's coz of my use or the software. Even there is a program called 98 to ME or ME to XP something, that claims to bring XP effects to 98/Me. Did nothing except to polish up things a bit, replacing my notepad with some stupid alternative, and killed 98 in a few days. And trust me, after 7 years experience on 98, I am not at all a newbie that doesn't know what is supposed to be happening. So, a word of caution. Do make some back up copy of work, and if possible, a image file by norton ghost, so that you can restore the pc the way it was, if at all it gets screwed up. And do post your good/bad experience. And never believe on the programs, that claim to change the look or performance of ur windows 98 to XP. They do nothing except installing themes, icons, etc and make ur system very slow.
