Why Not Have A Summary Page...

I was browsing the forum yesterday, and then thought, wouldn't it be cool to have a summary page for each phone. I mean, yes we have discussions on each phones, but it is very tiresome to go through 20-30 pages to find whether a single feature is present or not. For example, I wanted to find whether it was possible to upload ringtones/pics in 6130 using cable (not by MMS). Also, about the cost of mms etc. I could find that pics uploading is possible, but I still haven't found out whether ringtone upload (by bitpim, not by email) is possible or not. I am sure the answer is there, but the search features takes me to the thread in which the words "pics +upload +cable" etc are present, and I have t browse ALL the thread in hope to find that entry.

Yes, reliance does give the features on their site, but we have much detailed info, like 6130 supporting amr, wav etc, or uploading mp3 in 6000, or using speakerphone in 6000 etc. I think it's high time we should plan something like this, which would be immensely helpful.

Also, if possible, can you please tell me whether it is possible to upload ringtones/Pics using Bitpim in 6130?

Because if yes, then I am buying it very soon.

Instead we should have a separate review section where every mobile released by Reliance is reviewed. Hence all the people who want to share the pros and cons can place it out there straight. What say?

What we actually need is someone maintaing a concise review of handsets detailing the features on a common format. A single post per handset continously updated by mods/admin. I am bit bust these days, will try to comeout with something to this effect in a fortnight or so. If someone can take it up earlier, please do so. A single topic per manufacturer, with a single post per model should be fine. This way it would not take up too much of pinned space either. Post in the respective sub-fourms and we will pin/close the topics.

I can take up responsibility of LG2330. OK, it's not too much of a responsibility, but still, people are getting confused whether ringtone download is possible, whether hindi SMS can be sent to and from non LG Reliances and non-Reliance phones etc. I've been a user of this handset for last 3 months, and have enough experience. If you guys give green signal, I'll do the honours of starting an Info thread.

What we really need is reviews like that of 2030 and 6255(recently posted), which are really so extensive and carefully put together by one person that it becomes decent enuf to make choices!
