In addition to the voice calls, this system will provide facilities such as - Internet at a speed of 144 Kbps, SMS service to other GSM and CDMA networks and Unified Messaging System (UMS) and Voice Message Service (VMS) Internet Access Charges:The pulse rate shall be 60 seconds and charges are Rs 0.40 during peak hours and Rs 0.20 in off-peak hours. anujit 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2005 Interestingly enough in USA (usually means Verizon) on CDMA 1x 2000 networks people claim an average throughput of around 70-80 kbps. RIM on the other hand usually gives 120+ kbps on most nights (I rarely use it during the day on weekdays but on weekends its more-or-less the same). Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
