Recommended Posts

Did anyone get this forwarding email? its funny

Hi,

New Reliance India Donation Card is available in the values Rs.21/-, Rs.51/-, Rs.101/-, Rs.201 & Rs.501/-

Why Reliance India Donation Card ?

A prepaid customer does few SMS on the last day of the validity of the SMS Top-up card + ReCharge Card(06 Sept. 2005), on 06 Sept there was a balance of Rs.4.24.

The customer sends SMS to say 093.....730 - 746 and got call + SMS response back from 093...746 and 1-2 others by 10:00PM of 06 Sept 2005.

At 12:30AM (07th Sept. 2005) SMS is received that validity has expired.

In the morning of 07th Sept. at 10:00AM the customer Recharges the prepaid with Rs.199/- card to find that it topped up with Rs.50.24 instead of Rs.54.24(including the previous balance).

The customer called Customer Service *333 to find out the reason but was told that the Customer had done SMS to 093...738 and few other numbers in the morning of 07th Sept. at around 07:30AM (the customer had done this SMS on 06th Sept. and moreover the customer was sleeping at that time - 07:30AM - 07 Sept. 2005)

Meanwhile the customer checked the balance again to find out the balance has decreased to Rs.44.24 (Rs.10/- donation done to Reliance and don't know how much more..  Update: balance came down to Rs.1, so its more than Rs.50 donation, maybe more in store after i top-up). Called Customer Service *333 but they insisted that customer has done the SMS in the morning and their System was right. And since Reliance System is right so no complaint to look into it is needed.

Who needs Reliance India Donation Card?

Since Reliance India is great company giving so called great services, so its upto the customers. They can take the Donation Card with any of the Recharge vouchers, WCard's etc.

It becomes necessary for SMS Top-up card users as you can see in the previous paragraph.

Talk Value and Validity of Reliance India Donation Card

Sorry, since its Donation Card so Talk Value is Rs.0.00 and there is no Validity.

Hilarious, yes but see the gravity of the crime.

It means that this can also happen to my Rs.440/- prepaid voucher. Suppose i made few calls on 11.09.2005, card expires in the midnight, i recharge with Rs.440 voucher on 12.09.2005 evening to find that mobile recharged with zero balance. Called customer service and they told that you had made the calls on 12.09.2005 morning (before recharging), not on 11.09.2005 as their System says so.

Act 2, Scene 2

Mr Nil Bani attends the delegation of U.P. Govt. on the visit of Mr Clinton. A multi-million Tender is also invited at the occassion.

Next day Mr Nil Bani is informed that his Tender application is rejected as he didn't attend the funtion but the Tender was awarded to T Jndicon. Mr Nil Bani insists that he was present there, even pictures came in local/ national newspapers and noone from T Jndicon was present.

U P Government replies that they can't do anything as their System says Mr Nil Bani was absent and the System is always correct.

So i think Mr Nil Bani should be quite pleased and satisfied with this response. :P
