First of all three cheers to the Founder-Admin Arun, and the various mod's who ensure that this forum remains what it is intended to be. In almost every city accross the country ... we are sure to find a Rimweb ian. we keep on meeting these wonderful people from different walks of life .... this thread is intended to write ur feelings about these people ... so that others who did not actually take the step to introduce themselves to people from their own neighbourhood ... will do the same! People I've met till date : Name :iiii_Pretender_iiii From : Mumbai Kewl Chap, loves his Aquarium like crazy. Drives around a bike ... and with a dont mess with me attitude! Programmer with the skill that it takes to be around competitive. Right now pursuing his MCA. wanna play tech squablle ? well catch him mate.... we are mostly seen on the same LAN (same ISP...) so well ... u guys can imagine the kinda stuff that gets exchanged! yeah ... right .. from movies to games and what not! Name : g999 From : Nagpur An IIT'ian .... who had come over to mumbai for some work ... and well we met somewhere near my house in the late hours one evening ... he had come over with his son. Nice person ... running his own business. Well settled in life! Name : Anujit Das Gupta From : Pune :Drumrolls: This guy ... was well ... unlike my previous ideas about him.... pretty kewl! I had to go over to pune ... recently for some work.. and decided to ask him, if his place was where I was to head out to.... stays alone ... so the deal was struck. Reached his place late at night (1.20 AM) and there he was, breaking all my opinions about him.... I guessed him to be thin / athletic, and here was a sleepy, guy competing with me as far as size is concerned! Pretty humorous Libran with good persuasive skills (he could really persuade me to taste some alcohol ... (Bacardi Breezer) btw), and a very hectic schedule will describe him the best! Hates to carry his own bag (expects someone to carry his bags for him... )... and well survives on junk food most of the time, cakes, pizza, chips, kit-kats etc (if any of u interested in junk food intends to go to pune ... contact him ...) Hes a cool chap, wears thin rimmed glasses, hes thin speaks good english and types really fast. He insists that he dosent like people who talk without the need of being heard. Lives with no TV and sez that TV is a waste of time. Hates chemistry ( and i mean chemistry that involves chemicals ) well, chirag, how was that for a (v. brief) description ? I rave abt it to ppl, even today!! ur known to most of my frenz :'( And yeh, things have changed quite a bit at my end, Sur!! From glasses to chemistry to profession ... !! Anyways, Mumbai meet seems a good idea to me! Preferably a sunday, late afternoons... If thats ok, someone could suggest a place for October 2,2005 @ 4.00pm!! Trivandrum (sometime in Nov 1st week) we've got both admins from there so well, they know better... so arun / ashokjp let us know where can we have a meet ... some nice hangout spot in TVM ... the discussion can be on anything from comps to fish ... to mobiles to well ... just about anything .
