Try Following steps: Right click on My Computer, click Properties, Advance Tab, click on device manager and search the COM port setting and tell me the availability of COM port. Thanks and Take Care! adk 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2005 Damn!!!!! The port was not shown.. so i rebooted the machine and the port was shown ! Now it works I am not using the rconnect dialer though. Instead i am using The normal Dial Up Networking. -adk First check Whether ur computer have COM port or not.
