Nokia 6255 - Bluetooth Headset Se Hbh-65

Recommended Posts

I have been using Nokia 6255 for more than 2 months without having any major issues.

But for some reasons Nokia 6255 is not recognizing my Bluetooth headset which is Sony Ericsson HBH-65. I have already used this Bluetooth headset with my other Nokia GSM phone 6600 but NOT with Nokia 6255.

Are there any compatibility issues with this Bluetooth headset?

Any input in this regard is greatly appreciated.

I don't Think so, Is your Nokia getting connected via other BlueTooth Devices? I am using Nokia HS-4W BlueTooth Head Set and it is working just fine. Infact I have paired my phone with other BlueTooth Head Sets too, like Jabra, Motorola and SonyEricsson. Even the local Chinies make were compatible. So try pairing with other BlueTooth Head Sets, other wise you have to take it to Nokia care centre.

Hi, there. Well I am a new RimWeb Member...and have bought this Handset 3 weeks back. MY SONY Ericson HBH - 602 Blue Tooth Headset is WORKING JUST FINE....So as MUKUL said, you can first try to connect it with some other Headsets or try your Headset to Pair on other Phones ( Vise - Versa ) to check which device is not working....and then you can decide to call / take your gadget to the relevant company's Care Center.

Thanks for your input.

Fyi, this BT headset (SE HBH-65) works fine with Nokia 6600. But I could not connect this device with my other two mobile phones 1. SE Z600 2. Nokia 6255. When I search for new pair devices in these two phones they do not recognize the headset. But when I press hard on my BT headset it is automatically connecting to Nokia 6600.

I have even deleted this connection in Nokia 6600 and switched off Nokia 6600 then tried to connect with other phones which did not work. I tried the above just in case there is a conflict.

I have to try pairing with other BT headset devices then only I can decide which is actually giving problem?

Try reseting your BT headset (SE HBH-65) and then try. Check the Manual which came along with headset. This should work!!!!! :(

Mukul ! Thanks for your input. It really helped. I forgot to reset my headset because it was more than 1 1/2 years since I did this.

Now this is connecting to my Nokia 6255.

The issue is resolved now.

I thank all those who have contributed here.
