Ashokjp 15 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 No yaar, I dont think they will embaress you.. Jus tell them some story making them feel that you dont know anything about all these things Even if your reason is not any solid one... doesnt matter.. i guess they ask all these for the sake of asking.. Well atleast they dont have to give explanation to anybody

Greens 21 Report post Posted April 2, 2004 guys warranty is only for one year, and incase of battery itz 9 months. thats what your warratny card says. only insurance is for 3 years, you can claim if the charges are more than 150 provided you fit in all the conidtions. iiii_pretender_iiii 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2004 The warranty for the phone is 1yr.... Mine was under warrenty period... And its not just abt flashing the phone... They for some reason cant do that... They just replaced the whole PCB for my phone... And applied for a transfer of the number to my new PCB... The guy at LG service told me that if it werent in the warrenty period , i would have been charged 5000... Yup, that right 5000 neat bucks.... However for some reason i still am not able to make/ recieve calls... Reliance cust. support are still not able to solve the problem... He told me to try *308 and stuff... Bottom line : Dont mess with the phone. Edit only what you are sure abt.... I for one considered it safe to edit a file with java code... Big mistake .... Chirag 5 Report post Posted April 6, 2004 Pretender sent me this via PM !! Good enuf to become a post! Dude, we need jus this much... nothing more Keep posting! Hi,mornin... Well, When i gave in my cell, they asked me when i purchased it... I did not give any proofs... They changed the whole PCB and i was not charged a single rupee... Maybe cause its still under warranty.... I guess they can find out when the piece was bought. thats why they did not ask for any proofs or bills... As for putting up all this in the forrums, Im not a big talker. You may already know that. I speak only when needed or mostly in the tech. forrrums. Thats the only thing that intrests me. But you can go ahead and put it up if u want. P.s : They did not even give me the bill. they kept it. bye, take care, m a n o j

Tushar 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2004 they get all the details of the fone through sms and they find it through sms that whether the fone is under warranty or not Yes even yu can do it just send an SMS to 3737 with the foll. ODM "your number" "your number" - where you insert your no. along with STD code eg. 02233333333 or 2233333333 both work. PS : This was not discovered by me but posted somewhere in the forum k.
