Ashokjp 15 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 Nice finding shaboo.. First time i tried this.. the phone restarted showing some message ending with ".c" But in the second time, it dialled a phone no as (Secret) I am not sure.. but i think this comes when there is some error.. I dont remember which.. Maybe while using UniCDMA.. i got a message like this ending with ".c"... Not sure whether it was while i used UniCDMA..

gdi123 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2004 i tried this just now.. unfortunately, it works only once. once the phone reboots, pressing the up key before pressing call only causes it do show (secret) or something while making a call .. too bad it would have been a nice way to scare some gullible people.. heh
kingscorpian1980 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2004 Hey Guys nice one i also tried and it does the same it showed me mccsup.c and it rebooted the phone. but in dialled list it is not showing anything. thats that.
StaticElectricity 8 Report post Posted March 27, 2004 well i tried this but it didnt work for me.. the phone just showed (Secret) and the there was a response '.....please check your number.......' may be because i already had a (Secret) number or may be some software version difference... so i think it was most probably a software bug... which got ...umm...SQUASHED ... maybe? Shabz 8 Report post Posted March 28, 2004 hi this works everytime just see when you go to phonebook option and click on the name does it show only the default no or everything if it shows everything that is the location etc then when u press the up button it will surely restart
JAX 1 Report post Posted March 28, 2004 (edited) It reboots because it's getting a non-numerial character where it expects a numerical character liek in a phone number. So if u put some Alphabets as a phone number and dial it, the phone will crash and reboot. The error I am getting is the following mccsup.c   01662 Edited March 28, 2004 by Ashokjp

emmi 3 Report post Posted May 23, 2004 (edited) Hey guys check this out if u press a number and down arrow and then call u will get a number or some ascii charecter (like| or a inverted triangle) above the secret. i wonder what it means. And one more thing the number above [secret] is not constant. its returning various values each time . for example if i press 21 ,up arrow ,call i got a blank 1st time. 2nd time i got 3 and next 0 and so on.................... i wonder what it is Edited May 23, 2004 by StaticElectricity
iiii_pretender_iiii 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2004 Great finding emmi, Must be some bug in the code, or better still may be some unimplemented feature
