Nokia 6255 Help

Hy all

I am new to this forum its good to know that there is forum exclusivly for rim citizens.......... i wpalning to gshift from my moonlight (2130) to either LG rd 6000 or Nokia 6255 hacan you guys help me out????????

I want to know these: how many ringtones can be downloaded in both the phones; how do you compare the camera clarity in both the mobiles; how abt the colour clarity;

i hope to get help

ringtones in 6255 depends on the cpapcity of your multimedia card and the format in which you want the tones to be

say you have a 1 GB card and you have all the tones in midi format.

Lets take an average size of a tone to be 10kb. If you dont have anything else on your phone (songs, vids, wallpapers, and other stuff) you can use all of 1 GB (actually 979 Mb ) for ringtones. NOw you can calculate how much that turns out to be,

Since RD6000 does not have an expandable memory, it will have a fixed number. Someone said it is 40. I am not sure.

As regards camera, both have a VGA resolution camera,

I havent used 6000 but have used LG 7230 and I can tell u 6255 has a slightly better camera than 7230.

Color clarity is good, though I think it has a slight bais towards green (maybe only my phone.)

If there is only a difference of 2000 rs, I think you should buy nokia. You ll be amzed at the number of things you can do with this phone.

Where RD6000 wins hands dowmn is looks, no comparisons there,

But overall, anyday for me 6255!
