hey !!!!!

in abhay's posting, Total subscriber base for Tata is said to be 5.6 million. Thats alright. Reliance's subscriber base has been posted wrongly at 1.35 million instead of 13.5 million...... Make the changes please.... The nos look pathetic otherwise.

The decimal has been put up in the wrong place !!!!!!

- Harshy !

the bharti's figure which u have quoted is for their landline service and not for mobile, and as far as mobile service of bharti ie airtel their subscriber base is over 14 million.

I wonder if Rimweb is fast converting into a humor fourm ;)

Earlier I read the topic of internet connectivity thru power lines !

And now .... "Reliance beats Airtel" .... I was near certain, this was sarcastic humor..... but no,... here is someone who really doesn't know the numbers involved in the telecom industry..

Anyway, just for info .... Airtel added 6.54 lac mobile customers .... adding the 45,000 landlines in the above message .. it's about 7 lac of total subscribers.

Reliance's total subscribers addes being only 4.01 lac .... is wayyyy short of Airtel.

Though, what really is the big question is ..... how come Airtel driving so well these days..... with regularity. Reliance's performance is somewhat lacklustre.

Tata though, seems to be coming up, even though struggling due to late entry.
