rohsum 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2005 Friends This find of entering the service menu of LG 6130 is a pathbreaking one. I tried lots of R & D with it. First of all I explain what I did. I had an older Kyocera 1135 of Tata(good old days when Tata came to Delhi). From that, I took the SID/NID settings and the channel nos. Primary CHA: 283 Secondary CHB: 691 and so on. Then I changed the phone number also to a Tata one, arbitrary choice. Then I selected NAM2 to which I had made the Tata settings. When NAM2 is selected, the handset displays "Please Contact Reliance Customer Care" and Tata Network doesn't come. Conversely, I tried putting the NAM1 settings on my Reliance phone onto my Kyocera 1135, and they too did not work, despite exact replication of all settings. Reliance appears to have restricted access to other networks despite settings change. Can anyody tell how to get this handset working for Tata? Do I have to get the ESN of this handset on Tata's database first? Ashoksoft please tell me your mail id at least so that we can interact thru mail openly. That's the extra security measure. Any ideas? Another question. How to enter the hidden keypad A-Key programming menu in the Reliance LG phones : 2030,2130,2230,2330,2340,2430,5130,6130 etc? I can enter the NAM programming menu in LG Rd2330 by pressing #542362#*542362*. The following options are available there : 1. Service program 2. Short NAM 3. Field test 4. Data 5. VM log 6. SMS MO 7. CDG2 test 8. FCC test 9. System 10. LCD contrast Unfortunately I can not find any option to enter the new A-Key value from the keypad. Please help.
