Arun 795 Report post Posted October 13, 2005 Festive bonus talk time on RIM NAVI MUMBAI, October 04, 2005 Reliance Infocomm, an ADAE Group company, has announced festive bonus talk time offers for its prepaid and postpaid customers. Prepaid customers refilling their accounts with Rs 330 and above during Dussera and Diwali will get the benefit of total talk time as the administrative charge, currently at Rs 150, has been waived off from these vouchers. The Dussera offer is valid between October 3 and October 12, and Diwali offer between October 27 and November 5. The offers are applicable in all circles except Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, for which separate schemes are on the anvil. The offers will help the company connect with its subscribers better and infuse fresh vigour in the market during the festive season. In addition, the company is offering free talk time worth Rs 1,000 on purchase of select models of handsets for new connections. The offer is valid between October 3 and November 5. On the other hand, RIM postpaid customers taking connections between October 3 and November 5 will get free talk time of Rs 500--1,000 depending on the handsets they buy. This free talk time will be spread across five months. The bonus talk time in all offers can be used to call RIM phones within the circle and extend festive greetings. Arun 795 Report post Posted October 13, 2005 Reliance Info cuts ILD rates by up to 50 Percent Reliance Infocomm offers mobile calls to US & Canada, SE Asia at Rs. 4.99, UK at Rs 6.99 and Gulf countries at Rs. 9.99 Navi Mumbai, October 13, 2005 Extending the ongoing festive offers to ILD calls, Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Enterprise Group company Reliance Infocomm today announced up to 50 per cent cut in its call rates on its Rs. 500 and Rs1,000 World Cards to the United States & Canada, United Kingdom, and the Gulf. Calls to all UK numbers will now cost Rs6.99, down from Rs.14 for mobile and Rs.7.20 for fixed lines respectively, while all calls to the Gulf will now cost Rs9.99, down from Rs12.25. Mobile and landline calls to the US & Canada and South East Asia on the two cards are now cheaper at Rs4.99 per minute. This is perhaps the cheapest tariff to these countries available in the market today. Announcing the latest ILD tariff structure, S P Shukla, President – Wireless Products and Services, Reliance Infocomm said: “Call volumes surge during the festivals like Dussera, Diwali and Id with people calling each other to extend festive greetings. Reliance Infocomm joins the celebrations by facilitating longer conversations for its subscribers. ” Innovative domestic and overseas tariffs have been Reliance Infocomm’s key growth driver in Reliance’s strategy.
