saranbabu 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2005 Hi, Following is my story. I went in for RConnect Freedom Plan. I was given a LG LSP 350R along with a data cable. I tried installing in Windows 2000 Advanced Server. It did not work. After checking with Customer Service, I was told it would not work with server versions. So, I changed to Windows 2000 Professional. Installation went through, but when I click on the connect button, the system just restarts. Again I connected the Customer Care and was told there could be a virus and suggested me to download malicious virus removal. ( microsoft.com KB890830 ). There was no virus since my system was formatted and then newly installed with only the OS and the RConnect software. Again I took up with the customer care and was told only a hardware person can resolve this. I had taken help of a hardware vendor and checked the machine. He says absolutely there is no conflicting devices. If any one could guide me please ? Otherwise let me know to whom I should escalate and get this resolved ? The last resort is drop reliance from my mind. It is almost one week I took the connection and not in use. Thanks Saravanan

Arun 795 Report post Posted October 14, 2005 um thats wierd, does it simply restart your PC when you press the dial button ? Did the installation go fine ? Are you using the R-Connect dialer softare for connection. If so, try creating a new dialer and try connecting from it. << Moving topic to R-Connect forum >>
