Reason:It may happen in some of the location, the set is auto-powering Off, By loading Ver.04 the problem gets resolved.

LG RD 6000--Ver 10

Has been Released.

Reason:It may happen in some of the location, the set is auto-powering Off,

or intermittent Network Search, by loading Ver.10 the problem gets resolved.

PRL is Updated from 02 to 10.

Ver 11 is the only latest available, may be an update will be realesed in 1-2 Months,Can't Say.

Hey Guys, An update for RD 6230

RD 6230--VER 13

General Information: Version 13 resolves the following problems,

a) In ver 12, Messages could not be received while accessing R-World. This has been fixed.

b)While customer is entering DATA in/ or retrieving DATA from Phonebook, and if the Alarm

rings, the phone may behave erratically. This problem has been solved.

Hai Friends, Got an Update for LSP 350R

LSP 350R--VER B04

General Information : It has been observed, the outgoing voice from LSP 350R, to BSNL and GSM phones are low, and by increasing the Mic volume to “3” the outgoing volume becomes acceptable. The new software change the default Mic, Volume to “3”

And I checked my phone s/w version and found its B02

Will get it updated asap...

PS: Is there ne method to disable the sound alert while making or ending a call. Its very irritating and there is no option to disable it!

Hi Jiss,

Just take ur handset to the nearest ASC, and get ur phone updated.

Btw.. backing up ur phonebook can be a nice thought before proceeding.

All other info, including scheduler / messages will get erased.

No Lg had withdrawn the version 16 due to some problem in ringtone.

so the version for LG6230 is 13 only.

At last a Stable Update for RD 6230 ver 17

a) Additional menu of Voice tool, has been added, (Menu 0)

In Voice tool the options are

1.Voice Recorder One can record songs or voice up to 9 minutes.

2.Answering Machine the caller can leave a message .

3.Voice message recorded message of the caller can be retrieved.

4.Voice Dialing one can dial the desired number, by saying the name of the person, saved in Phone book.

Assign the person’s name in voice dialing.

Long Press the down arrow key.

After setting of R-World downloaded ringer. as a default ringtone, and Whenever user goes into

menu->profiles->edit->ringtype, the phone used to hang; This problem has been solved.

c) Picture CLI used to appear only if the phone is in General or Outdoor mode.

This problem has been solved.

1. if you select any ringtone as default, and if your phonebook has any entry which will receive calls under default ringtone, then the phone will not ring - it will only show the light. You have to set each and every entry to a ringtone other than default.

2. same for sms.

Conversely, if you receive a call / sms from a number which is not saved in your Phonebook, then you can hear the default ringtone when a call / sms comes in.

Voice tool menu also is working fine. However, if you select a voice recorded message as your ringtone (which is possible), your phone will hang.

For me, no other problems were noticed.

Please verify with your contacts in LGASC and revert.

What I have in my 6230 is ver 17 and not ver 16, but with all the problems as described in Post # 48 above.
