Above all, to add <http://www.> and <.com> to a sites name we can press Ctrl+Enter after typing the sites name. For example to go to http://www.rediff.com we can type "rediff" (withput quotes) and press Ctrl and press enter then to make it http://www.rediff.com. I want to put this question before you all that, is there any such process for urls like .net or .org. or .edu et al?

No it isn't possible under Internet Explorer. But you can change what Ctrl + Enter does with the following registry trick:

1. Create the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\QuickComplete.

2. Create the following registry value in the key above: QuickComplete REG_SZ http://www.%s.whatever

3. Whatever is in the address bar will be inserted where the '%s' is. This example would complete 'microsoft' to 'http://www.microsoft.whatever'.

4. Please note that the QuickComplete string is currently limited to 64 characters.
