Possible Rconnect Thru Network / Ethernet Card?

Recommended Posts

I have using LG LSP 340E.

I'm in Platinum Plan. To Connect Rcoonect i have a Seria port cable. It is working well. But I have a doubt, that is,

I have a 100Mbps Network Card, the LG LSP340E Phone port is like a Network jack. So any possiblity to use a network cable to connect the RConnect thru network card, insteed of Serial / USB Cable.

Anybody have any Ideas Pls reply me as soon as possible.

Thank you,

Regards,

VivekRaja

My dear R-Connect is used through Data Cabel / R-Connect Card. There is no way to Use R-Connect through 100 MBps Network Card. But if u take Reliance Broadband connection then they give the connectivity throught this.

for more info. go to Relianceinfo.com and choosed braodband.

Hello dear Ankitengr,

Thanks for your reply.

But I ask "The Data cable (Serial Port) for LG LSP 340E is have a Serial Coneector an one end and the athor end have a Network (RJ45) connector. We always connect the RJ45 connector in Phone and the Serial connector at System's communication port.

If we use another network (RJ45) connector in the Data cable instead of Serial connector, and if possible to connect thru ethernet card, the RConnect Speed shoul increase than serial port.

is there is any possiblity?

Thank you

As LSP contain a modem, it is possible to install the driver for MODEM using RJ45 connector. If yes than it will be possible that your plan may get success.

Please try it and share your experience with us.

Thanks and Take Care!

PS: It is not only connection by two ports. it will be connection between Modem and Card.

Ooyieema,

Hey VivekRaja, Don't try to connect your LG LSP-340e via phone's RJ45 to Ethernet card's RJ45 connectors. I don't know what will happend in next !!@!@ . May be possible to damage the LSP-340e's modem part due to Ethernet card's power. But it will depend on ethernet card design.

First you try to understand about cables and connectors via http://www.hardwarebook.net/ The Hardware Book was Internet's largest free collection of connector pinouts and cable descriptions. It may help to understand the computer ports and save your hardware parts from bad R&D. lol :confuse: Take care your self and hardware parts too.
