9393932412 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 I was trying to MMS a video file with yyy.rm / yyy.rmvb extension to Nokia 6255 but it says the file do not have a valid extension. I tried sending the xxx.3gp and it allows to send me the same. Now when I rename the file yyy.rm to yyy.3gp it does not play. Can someone give me some pointers on the file extension that are recognised by the nokia 6255 nad and any conversion utilities which can allow me to convert files from .rm to .3gp? ashoksoft 83 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 well .rm is a Real media file, and can be played thro Real player. RMVB is streaming Real media content. 3GP / 3GG are Mobile video formats, and if u want to play it on the comp, use Quicktime as far as convertors are concerned, u have a trillion out there on the web, google for convertors.!
