Internet Access Using Reliance Lg Rd 2130 Phone

Recommended Posts

I have a Reliance LG RD 2130 Moonlight phone. I want to use to access Internet on my PC running Windows XP SP2 using my USB ports. I have the necessary data cable and the software downloaded from the Reliance website. The phone gets detected and the software is installed correctly. But when I try to dial using the RConnect Modem Software, I get a "stack overflow error" with an unlisted error code. Sometimes I also get an "unspecified error". Could anyone please help me?

Try to set emulated com port as com port 12, create a modem with the said com port. Dial to #777 (this means u are not using the Rconnect Dialer...)

Try it out ...

Cheers

Stacks are reserved memory that programs use to process hardware events. A stack overflow occurs when there is not enough space in memory to run the hardware interrupt routines.

The Config.sys startup file may not be properly configured for the Windows installation. Use the following values:

STACKS=64,512 ;(this is the maximum allowed)

FILES=60

BUFFERS=40

Check this out!!..dunno if this works.....

cheers
