IC£MAN 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2005 (edited) Hi Friends, Hope its not allready posted. This trick was sent to me by one of my friends. Tried & Tested. If you are using a nokia 6600 you can shut any other Nokia 6600 ( tried only on a nokia 6600 phone ) by naming your bluethooth device with the line mentioned in the file attached below. I have attached a notepad file Open it and copy the content ( just the way it is .... from one quote ( " ) to the other quote ( " ) with the spaces in between the quote and 1, now all u have to do is copy this using the pencil key and paste it in ur bluethooth name, change ur bluethooth user name to this. Restart ur phone & keep it on discoverable & accept mode. Now whenever any other nokia 6600 will search for a blue thooth device and ur phone is in range the phone serching will shut down and restart. This is cool specialy when u are at a Disc or Pub and you know that people there send viruses . It is said to work with all Nokia series 60 phones but i have tried it only on a nokia 6600. ashoksoft 83 Report post Posted November 16, 2005 and u know the reason why ? well I presume it is since the naming conventions in the handsets search field is not intended to accept long gaps (rather termed as "SINGLE TAB") u can acheive this number other wise, on ur computer, u can generate the text file by giving "ALT+009" then giving anything "1" in this case ... trust me it can be for all anyone cares "ashok" in the middle, but u need to start the device name and end it with ALT+009 Cheers Ashok Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
