A Question On Video Output

Is it possible to use television to view than the standard crt monitor ie. i mean can i connect the tv to the cpu???

If possible, please describe how to do it.

btw, i am having sony wega model

any help will be highly useful

It is possible.But sorry i forgot the Cable name.

You've got to have a rgb to composite video (or s-video, in case your tv has s-video port) convertor.

Most of the AGP cards have composite or s-video Out so if you already have such a card installed, it is then readily possible.

With s-video is it possible to view the games in the tv??

or anly the data from the card will be send to tv???

Well, with s-video it sends the monitor's entire screen to tv...so you would be able to view everything on the tv that you can see on your pc's monitor.

I recently found out that my tv does not have s-video port. But there are many slots(more than 10) at the backside of tv.

Also on the brochure it is mentioned that there is 'Component Input' available in this model.

Is there any way of conecting to my PC?

If you have graphic card with video out port installed in your computer, then you can connect your computer to your tv set using normal Video cable.

Just connect video cable to your Video out port on computer and the other end of the cable to video in port of your TV. Also the TV should be changed to AV mode.
