rEdshiFt 1 Report post Posted December 17, 2005 Just out of curiosity Which is the most expensive software? (i dont mean progs they only run in nasa or something similar). 'Software' can be either as a single product or as a full bundle here's one to start - Priced at $10,530, SolarWind's Orion Network Performance Monitor SLX Edition is a Broadband Performance Monitor. Looks like there are names like houdini, Catia and Pro-E which are ALTOGETHER a different league than our 'costly' photoshops and nortons. keep them coming ____________________________ psst: i just downed a staggering. $9999 'encyclopedia of sociology' kinda book ... for whatever its worth (pun intented ) . Thats what prompted me to start this post about costly software.
anujit 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2005 There are lots of specialised software that costs much much more. You wont get their price lists anywhere. Specialised engineering/cad software, plm stuff etc can run into (Rs.) 50-60 lakhs or more per module!

SexyGurl 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2005 (edited) ... which is the best underwear ? I thought "deeply" on this question ... since the correct answer to this question is *vital* to our personal comfort. I hope you all realize that that underwear plays a MORE important part in our life than a MOBILE PHONE. (or even an unrelated expensive software). Moot questions for discussion: 1. What are the parameters on which we could evaluate the *goodness* of an underwear? 2. What is the highest level achieved by any actually available underwear (on each of the parameters identified in 1)? 3. How could we define a composite metric (incorporating all the data on parameters identified, appropriately weighted), to arrive at the *BEST* underwear? Krinix 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2005 For the record, Reliance uses a CRM called Clarify. Reliance had bought the source code of it, for $ 3 Million, from Nortel. Now Clarify is bought by Ominidocs. And it was reenginered and programmed, with New modules, as to suit its own (reliance) need.
linuxguy 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2005 Linux is the most expensive software! Though, it comes free to the end user who wishes to download it but the amount of developers working on it, the amount of resources spent on it (man hours, power, servers etc...) is phenomenal! I was just kidding...
