TheNeo 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2005 (edited) Now that Hutch has over taken BPL its changing BPL into Hutch. And with this i hope so it will bring in tighter competition like the one in T.N.And i wish RIM should loss significant amount of coustmer to Hucth then and then only RIM will wake up. Dammm we don't get enough of talk time neither the call rates r cheaper all the GSM and TATA people laugh on us.Feel like to kick RIM off but can't change my number. But hey! TRAI is now planning that "A coustmer Should be able to change his service provider without changing his number.Just recharge of any company u like and enjoy service of any company.Great is't it. " Dear Friend I do agree with you . Younger Ambani has stopped all expansion work and going retrograde way. Briefly you can say a HARAKIRY mode (suicidal) . They are denying any call rate benifits to customers What they are doing is to sell sets with free talk time and further weepings

vb86 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2005 The hutch makeover has been in the news for sometime. I remember an article saying they were switching their colour choice from orange and white to pink and blue. Though i thought it would look pretty horrible, it looks pretty nice.. goto: www.hutch.co.in Also, it seems that Orange in mumbai has also become hutch.. Honest 836 Report post Posted January 2, 2006 @theneo i think you are talking about number portability. the same has been rejected by mtnl, as mtnl think there is no need of this kind of service in India right now. but the TRAI / DOT still have to make a decision on number portability. linuxguy 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2006 hutch is just doing cosmetic make over. It's Jan already and they have no new offers for Mumbai. They will keep ripping us off!

Harshad 1 Report post Posted January 11, 2006 By entering Maharashtra as HUTCH rather than having a brand name as BPL, I kinda don't think there's going to be any more competition. Its just that the name changes and nothing more. Hutch to hutch std will become cheap. Thats it ! The most important job that Hutch has to do in Maharashtra to succeed is to widen their network coverage. BPLs current network is only in the main cities. On the highways, BPL simply doesnt have any coverage. Lets hope that with the advent of hutch, it helps getting in new offers. Btw amitb22 - spell-check device needed for sure !!!!! :-) LOL !!!
