I have reduced the contrast level (under display options) to 25 and surprisingly, this contrast level is pretty clear. And guess what, the standby time of my battery has totally increased. It has been 4 days now, and just 50% of the battery life is over. I am not sure about the talk time battery life of the cell, but possibly, that has enhanced too. anujit 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2005 yeah lower the display. knock of the ringtones & vibrations etc your battery life will increase. But I'm pretty surprised it has improved this much!
