Now ask "B" to call you, and check whether this number's name is now displayed? Then try same with B deleted and A stored. This might throw more light on whether its a number format (or similar number conflict...highly unlikely) or software problem... hi everyone, There is this problem which i`m facing. imvikky 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2005 I dont know what set you hold a RD6130 software supports for a no check of 10 digits... so if ten digits of the called/calling no match with any stored location the name is displayed.... Also if there are two entries with similar ten digits(including the order) then if you call or sms just the no is displayed for both the entries... May be your phone checks just seven digits... Chirag 5 Report post Posted December 24, 2005 I guess he's talking abt the older Nokia GSM handsets which had this problem. They read the last seven digits of the number and flash the name of the person. If u have saved 0224124242 in your diary and say dial 0114124242, it wud display 0224124242's name on the screen. I think its jus a software issue. Check up if there's an update the software.
