izzner 1 Report post Posted December 24, 2005 From what i feel is that Reliance messed with the phone(somehow) I too had the same problem there are two ways around this problem.. 1) just get rid of the "mid" extension ("file.mid" to just "file") and then copy it to the phone through the nokia phone browser. OR 2) For copying the *.mid files directly use .....Err heard abt about "Diego".. ..........and then copy the *.mid files through the Nokia phone software. TheNeo 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2005 From what i feel is that Reliance messed with the phone(somehow)I too had the same problem there are two ways around this problem.. I tried the first oppsition that is renaming but it gives the same error "file too large" and if u see the renamed file and midi file the association of both of them can be changed to any media software. But if u see the original .File there is no option to change its association. And ha .File can be opened in WMP only and midi in Winamp. I did'nt get ur 2nd option. What is "Diego" I also learned that the same handset (NOKIA 3125) in TATA accepted midi files easily. But then y not mine. Looks like Reliance have tampered the original software like a................. dammm. Hey Ashok plz helppppppppppppppp!
Vishal Gupta 4 Report post Posted December 27, 2005 1.) "file too large" error occurs, when the size of Midi file is more than the required size! 2.) Try to cut some part of the Midi file using PSM Player or Nokia PC Suite and then try to upload again! 3.) ".file" extension is the extension, which is made by some mobile s/w while u/l ing the files! 4.) "Diego" is a CDMA s/w to change many service parameters and other settings in Nokia phones (falls under BANNED contents)! SO PLS DON'T ASK ABOUT IT AGAIN SINCE SUCH DISCUSSIONS R NOT ALLOWED HERE!
